The study of the Letter to the Hebrews originated in a series of Bible Class lectures which were expanded in articles appearing in The Christadelphian from 1933-1935.
This book unfolds the great characteristics of this letter in brief and simple terms and is a fitting introduction to its study. A series of similitudes, contrasts and analogies are used in the letter to the Hebrews, some of which have to do with the Mosaic ritual and others with the great figures of the Old Testament. To appreciate them fully the reader must be familiar with that history, particularly with the five books of Moses. Such a background would have made a powerful appeal to the Hebrews to whom the letter was clearly addresses. Therefore, The Law of Moses and Law and Grace are recommended.
