Announcing a one-stop source for preaching and teaching aides and
supplies — The Christadelphian Preaching and Resource Center (CPRC)

Excellent material is available from websites and ecclesias around the world in both hard copy and formats that can be readily downloaded and used by our ecclesias for preaching and teaching. For example:

• Power Point presentations.
• Overhead materials.
• Subject notes.
• Correspondence courses.
• Bible Seminar notebooks.
• Sunday school materials/pictures etc.

The challenge for most of us is that we do not know what all is available and where to get it. What is needed is a single source website to which we can go that can direct us to the material that is available. Even more importantly, it would help to have a live person we can call for help and suggestions. This would be a “help desk” for Christadelphians. Thus we need someone who will undertake the task of “web master” for this site both in gathering and organizing the information and taking the e-mails and phone calls from some of us who are not as computer literate as we would like to be.

We are pleased to report that Bro. Mike Le Duke of the Kitchener/Waterloo ecclesia in Ontario has agreed to be the coordinator of this project. Although the CPRC is in development, we want to launch the service immediately. The sooner the project is under way the sooner we will be able to identify the areas of most importance to you and focus our energies in those areas.

We would like to hear from you, your ideas for developing the project: methods that have worked well for you and/or your ecclesia and sources for sound preaching ideas and materials. We’d also appreciate stories regarding your conversion to Christ and hope of the Kingdom along with interesting/ amusing preaching-related anecdotes. We feel these may well be invaluable in the successful implementation of this program.
