Our promise for today is found in Hebrews 10:35: “Cast not away therefore your confidence which hath great recompense of reward.”

We must not cast away our confidence, we must never doubt that He will hear us. Yes, He is the Creator of this immense universe with billions of planets, and everything in our world and all other worlds were made by Him and are His. Yet He does take care of and listen to frail human beings on this small earth. He who clothes the lilies will much more clothe us, and the very hairs of our heads are numbered (Matthew 10:29-31; Matthew 6:28-30). If he knows that much about us, then He must surely love us. So we are to come confidently to Him, expecting an answer to our prayers. As has been before stated, it may not always be the answer that we wanted or expected, but it will be the right answer, and we must trust that such is the case, even if the answer is a positive “no”. Let us put ourselves completely in His hands, to do His will and not our own. Let Him mold us in whatever way He wishes, and then we will find the “peace that passes all understanding” (Phil.4:7), the power to battle the giants of evil, and the love that will enrich our lives and enable us to help others along the way. Again, we repeat, let us come Confidently to Him, knowing that He will hear us.
