Cayman Islands (C.I.)
During the week of November 6 to 16, 11 brothers and sisters joined in another preaching effort in the Cayman Islands They were Bro Alan & Sis Mary Eyre, Pt Maria, Sis Hyacinth Harvey, Spanish Town, and Sis Currine Thomas, Kingston, Jamaica, Bro Jim & Sis Eileen Scott and Bro David Styles, Shelburne, ON, and Sis Beverley Granville, Bro Patrick Rodney, Sis Joy Drummond and Bro Titus Wallace, George Town, C I.
As the Cayman has strict regulations on many activities, efforts were adjusted to these conditions and concentrated on personal witnessing, house to house canvassing, encouragement to start home Bible classes and to take the Exploring the Bible course Those showing keen interest during witnessing were invited to the evening semmar sessions These sessions were based in a general way on the Apostles’ Creed to which nearly all Christians at least give lip service and which therefore served as a noncontroversial and non-adversarial starting point for thematic biblical treatment of the way of salvation In this way, the following topics were covered “God, the Father Almighty,” “Jesus Christ, the Son of God,” “The Holy Spirit, the Power of God,” “The Crucifixion, Resurrection and Glorification of Jesus Christ,” “Baptism and the Forgiveness of Sins,” “The Second Coining of Jesus Christ, Resurrection and Judgment,” “The Kingdom of God” and “The Fellowship of the Church”
As on previous occasions, Bible school-type sessions were held each morning.
Results of the campaign
Much seed was sown by house to house efforts Two friends were greatly encouraged toward baptism and several others have begun serious study A permanent location was secured which will serve as the center for weekly meetings and further preaching efforts On Little Cayman, one friend from an earlier campaign continues to show interest.
All told, it was a most satisfactory effort and we praise God for His mercy and blessings.
Russia
What a thrill to recently receive m Russian the “Russian Gospel News” It is produced by three Serbian brethren who do an outstanding job on the presentation of material Pictures and graphics are attractively and generously used and for that reason we were able to determine some of the contents reports on fraternal gatherings and study days, articles featuring recent developments in Israel, reviews of the truth’s history in Europe and Russia and basic Bible exhortation and exposition And we are told there are a number of reprints from various Christadelphian magazines.

The assistance of campaigners from Sydney, AUST, the English Midlands and California who came to Korea September 20-28 was much appreciated. During the campaign week, 70,000 handbills were given out to shoppers and commuters by a team of 12. Our thanks to all the team who worked so hard, persevering through various difficulties, including two days of rain. It is our prayer God will continue to be with us and that their efforts on this occasion will not be in vain.
We also express our gratitude to Bro. Bob & Sis. Peggy Lloyd, Verdugo Hills, CA; Bro. John & Sis. Violet Bounaparte, Singapore, and Bro. Paul & Sis. Pat Wade, West Houston, TX, for their encouragement at our “Autumn Moon” Bible School the week prior to the campaign.
We are delighted to welcome Bro. Foster and Sis. Eunice AnkrahPambour of Accra, Ghana, as members of the Seoul Ecclesia and we are sorry to say goodbye to Bro. Andy Turner who moves to Beijing, China.
