Our Father who doth dwell in heaven,
All hallowed be thy Name.
O grant us now the promise given
Thy Son on earth to reign, Thy
will be done, Thy word proclaimed
To nations one and all.
May they from error be unchained,
And unto one God call.
And each receiving daily bread
Their soul be satisfied.
In love and mercy by Him led
Who lived, and for us died.
And sin forgiven for His sake
May all on bended knee,
Renew the covenant they did break,
And own thy majesty.
And through the days that may remain
Forsake us not ; nor leave
Us to our own device, for vain
Is man and we may grieve,
The holy rightness of thy thought
For yesterday, today,
Man as a flower comes forth to naught
And soon doth pass away.
But none can break thy arm of strength,
Or change thy gracious law.
So though our days be brief of length,
We need strength to endure.
And take the cross what’er it be
until thy kingdom come.
Ascribing glory, power to Thee
Through thine exalted Son.
