Called out ones who serve the one true living God,
Hold steadfast to the faith unto the end,
Run w ell the race, thy feet with preparation shod
In readiness, for soon His Christ He’ll send.
Sow the seed with every opportunity,
Trust in God with all thine heart and soul,
And He w ill give thee strength, whate’er thy burden be,
Doubt not His love, if thou would’st reach the goal.
Envy not another, for worldly wealth or fame,
Look rather to the future joy and wealth,
Please the Lord, e’en though it means to suffer shame,
He’ll bless thee with the gift of heavenly health.
Increase in knowledge and the wisdom of the Lord,
Ask in faith and He w ill give it thee,
Needful is the daily reading of His Word,
Seek thou to live with Christ eternally.
