1885 pg. 225. ‘‘Bro. C. says: ‘I have said my last word and shall reply to no more letters.’ In the course of a lengthened experience, we have often seen this position taken in controversy, but never by men in earnest, and sure about their ground, such as are never in a hurry to scuttle away from conflict. He further says, ‘W hat I have written, I have written’; by which he forces on those who would accept his cooperation, the acceptance or connivance at his bible-destroying theory of the Bible’s constitution. He consequently leaves no alternative but dissociation with those who would be faithful to God in their day and generation.”
