We Are Very Happy To Report The Success of our 2005 Bible Youth Camp, which was held at our camp facility in Plegt Anker, East Bank, Berbice. Even though it was probably the smallest camp ever; with 47 youths and young brothers and sisters from all six ecclesias, our camp was very much enjoyed by all those in attendance.
Throughout the year much hard work and planning was done in preparation for this special occasion, but our reward was evident — God’s word had once again the opportunity to reach the hearts of our young people.
We were very impressed with the improvement of our campers, especially their vast spiritual growth, most of whom have been regular attendees at camp. It was wonderful to see everyone labouring in the service of our Lord.
We rejoiced in the baptism of LESTER TRIM from Mocha CYC. Bro. Lester made history as the first person to put on the saving name of our Lord during our annual youth camp. We do trust that God will continue to bless him and that his bold step will be an inspiration to our young people.
We take this opportunity to thank those brothers and sisters, near and far, who have supported our camp throughout the years, especially the CBMA.
We are truly looking forward to your continued support in helping us grow and mature in the Lord, learning of His plan for the eternal salvation of those who serve him wholeheartedly – in body, mind and spirit.
