The First Meeting Hall of the Harvey River ecclesia was a tiny, derelict shop which had been renovated. At the dedication 45 years ago there were so many visiting friends packed into the little room that the floor gave way from sheer weight of numbers. This is the only time I have known so many visitors at a Christadelphian meeting that the floor has collapsed. As a very young man that occasion was a meaningful moment for me, as I was a founding member of that ecclesia. Some of the people at that dedication became joyful, faithful members until death, and the ecclesia is still a bright and shining light.
