A Series of 10 videos has been produced, featuring Bro. Duncan Heaster talking through each of the chapters in the book Bible Basics. They are straightforward, Bible-based expositions of all the main doctrines of the truth, gently urging the viewer toward making a decision for baptism. They are shot on location in Argentina, Albania, Bolivia, Chile, Hungary, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, U.K. and U.S.A. They feature interviews with recently baptized brethren and sisters, unique exciting footage shot during riots and in some of the world’s hot spots, and feature a constant emphasis upon what the doctrines of the truth mean for us in practice. The footage of recently detonated grenades in Israel, fleeing rioters in Argentina, military patrols in Kosovo etc., are mixed with a lot of serious, punchy, Bible-based exposition of the truth which should especially appeal to young people.

Given the nature of the circumstances in which they were produced, these videos are not of high professional quality, but are nonetheless suitable for public showing. They would be ideal for small ecclesias or seminars, covering for when a speaker can’t turn up, or to interject a new approach into the regular proclamation of the gospel. The Christadelphian Advancement Trust is seeking to produce this series of videos in many languages. This requires the sound track to be verbally translated into those languages. If any brother or sister is fluent in a non-English language and able to help, please contact Bro. Marcus as above. There are few if any Christadelphian videos available in languages other than English. We would like to be able to offer some reimbursement to brethren and sisters in the mission field who may be able to help us in this work. It would be an ideal way of getting welfare to brethren and sisters in return for their hard work. There is also the cost of producing the videos in these languages. All donations, therefore, would be gratefully received by Bro. Marcus. Recent figures show that over 50% of the world’s population have reading difficulties. To get the message to people, we can no longer rely merely on books and pamphlets. Please join us in praying for God’s further blessing on this work so that the Gospel may go into all the world.
