It goes without saying that [the reader of this book] will encounter an un conventional idea or two. I have never regarded it as my mission in life to tell my readers what they know already. Every scribe instructed unto the kingdom of God should have an abundant store from which to bring forth things new as well as old [Matt 13:52]. So one of the purposes behind this volume is to foster a more eager spirit of exploration in the pages of God’s Word. The Bible contains such an abundant wealth of ideas that we can never hope to research it fully this side of the Second Coming.
