We concluded our “Learn to Read the Bible” seminars in mid-November with 15 of those attending expressing interest in a follow-up class. We decided to do this on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and were gratified that attendance, despite the holiday season, ranged from 7 to 12 in number. Another series of classes is scheduled to begin by the end of January dealing specifically with Jacob and Joseph.
While replies have stopped from the correspondence course contacts, we are still sending out 50 “Bible Magazines.” Earlier we had mentioned attending the studies of a group which seemed interested in Bible truth. A private class had been started with one of that number but was suspended due to the ill health of the interested party. None of the other members of the group has shown interest in further study.
Due to a job change, we are relocating about west of Grand Rapids but plan to continue following-up further Truth Corps contacts in Kalamazoo. We seek your prayers that these efforts may bear fruit to the glory of God.
