Another preaching effort, in cooperation with CBM (UK) is being planned in 1995 for Antigua and St. Lucia. St. Lucia, a windward island in the Caribbean, has been added to the Antigua effort in accordance with our original plan to extend activities in this area. So far as we know, the Truth has never been preached in St. Lucia. We visited the island for the first time in 1994; a full report of our effort there is in the following article.
God willing, the 1995 preaching activities will be undertaken in Antigua from Saturday, October 28 to November 4 and in St. Lucia from November 4 to 11, 1995.
All are invited
All brothers and sisters are invited to join us in this spiritually stimulating and fulfilling experience. What better way to spend a vacation? We will be enjoying the ideal retreat in the presence of the Lord — developing ourselves in the study of His word, preaching to others about the coming kingdom and relaxing in warm fellowship with those of like faith. The greater the numbers, the greater the impact of our preaching effort. You may choose either island, or better yet, both.
This is a self-supporting effort in that everyone pays his own expenses and contributes toward any common expenses involved in the project. Contributions from others, however, will be greatly appreciated as we will be advertising, renting halls, etc.
The dates have been chosen to coincide with off-season rates and the convenience of securing vacation time. We have been able to negotiate reasonable group rates at a lovely location in Antigua and are in the process of investigating the same in St. Lucia. We try to further curtail expenses by preparing our own meals, but participants are free to do otherwise.
